KB5AWP, the fourth astronaut to make ham radio contacts
while orbiting in space will visit with attendees of our
40th Anniversary events.  His three missions were
STS-37 (1991), STS-56 (1993), and STS-74 (1995 as Shuttle Commander).  
What's super special? 
All crew members on ALL three flights earned their ham radio licenses! 
​ Also, for STS-74, the shuttle docked with Mir,
he went aboard and made radio contacts from there, too!
