  • Welcome— Frank Bauer
    • Doing great and making progress. Had first of our special topic meetings that covered hardware. Gives everyone a chance to understand were we are in those areas. We have an education meeting in two weeks and operations on May 5. We encourage you to attend since we will focus on strategic information during our face to face. The special topics cover where we are today and the face to face will discuss where we want to go in the future.
    • There have been discussions about extending ISS to 2032 by the NASA administrator. It will still need approval from the other supporters internationally.
    • NASA signed an addendum to the ARISS space act agreement. They have extended our agreement until Oct 1, 2026 to give them time to work on a new agreement.

  • Face to face 2026 status — Oliver Amend
    • Face-2-Face 2026 meeting is now set for first week in June. Arrival & Setup on Monday, meetings Tuesday through Thursday with Friday as a reserve day (June 2-4, 2026) and departures.
    • Meeting schedule (DRAFT) Tuesday  – Learned lessons from recent missions and future space stations
    • Wednesday – New education, operations and hardware. Social dinner in the evening.
    • Thursday – Common goals, region roles and the plan forward. Final summary for planning over the next 10-15 years.
    • Hotel is the Travelodge and the venue is the British Interplanetary Society in Vauxhall. This is near central London so many tourist locations nearby.
    • Hotel reservations need to be coordinated with Oliver. Need minimum of 10 rooms to guarantee the group rate. They can support up to 20 rooms (all double rooms).
    • ETA and VISA  requirements for various countries will need to be verified. https://www.gov.uk/eta . ETA should be 16 pounds fee. Caution, as some other non-governmental sites charge more! ETA validity is for 2 years upon release, ETA processing within few days – don’t wait for last moment.
    • Frank – This meeting will involve discussions about a lot of change since the process will be changing due to the different opportunities and processes. This will be a good start to prepare for the new environment. Not all of these space stations will come to be and others might show up so we need to be well prepared and have a plan beforehand.

  • Next SSTV Event  - Sergey Samburov and Will Marchant
    • Sergey - Our SSTV 20th anniversary special had a radio failure the next day. It appears that some radio components have issues. Radio is working on UHF. 437.55 is the frequency we plan to use for Cosmonautics Day SSTV. Output power will be medium (10 watts). 437.825 is also being used for APRS. Targeting SSTV April 10-14 but awaiting final schedule with MCC-M. Will is working with us on the imagery for the session.
    • Will – Images will include Gagarin, SuitSat, First shuttle flight, images of Tsiolkovsky and Goddard (liquid fuel rocket pioneers). Will discuss with Poland team about supporting award certificates.

  • AOB  (Any Other Business)
    • Artemis 2 is targeting a launch on April 1 which supports the Doppler experiment.
